Black holes, long range forces and constraints on EFTs
Sera Cremonini
This talk will discuss the behavior of long range forces between non-identical extremal black holes. Properties of the latter are correlated with the convexity or concavity of the surface characterizing the extremal mass as a function of the charges, as well as with the structure of the binding energies. If there is time, I will also discuss attempts to use black holes to place constraints on low-energy effective field theories.
